The Healing (2012)

The Healing is a Filipino supernatural horror directed by Chito S. Roño. Starring Vilma Santos and Kim Chiu.

SYNOPSIS:

Seth and a group of people visits a faith healer due to all of them have a family members with serious illnesses seemingly having no hope to be cured in the near future. The old woman refuses to perform anymore healing soon after their arrival. They convince the healer and all their relatives are cured completely.  However, they did not know the healer’s warning about having to repay in equal kind everything which has been taken would manifest in terrifying ways.

REVIEW:

Last 2013, night of November 1, when I first watched this movie. I was really scared that time. I can’t even go to the bathroom and it keep me awake for a few nights because I imagine things and visualize the scenes from the movie. The plot of the story is good and the cosmetics of the actors are the best because it looks real. Proudly say that the Filipino horror movies are improving. It really gives a big impact to the viewers especially when they watched it at night. One of the scariest horror movie of the Philippines. Must watch!
